Is PLR Ethical?

12 Jan

Remember in yesterday’s post I mentioned that using PLR can be a bit tricky for Christians?  As a recap from yesterday’s post, PLR stands for Private Label Rights and is content that you can purchase and then use as is without giving the writer credit.  You can claim the content as your own.  You purchased the right to do so.  So basically you are taking credit for writing something you did not write.  The question of if PLR is ethical is a controversial one.

Nicole Dean from EasyPLR also created a video answering this question.

As a Christian blogger or business owner I think we have to be extra careful with the way we use PLR.  It is imperative to rewrite any PLR content you purchase.  If you use PLR as is and then your reader reads the exact same information, word for word, on another site, what does that say about your blog? Probably not good things.  Not only does it put your writing in question but also your morals.

Well then what good is PLR if you have to rewrite it?  That’s a good question and I will tell you answers tomorrow!

What is PLR and How It Can Help A Christian Blogger

11 Jan

This week on the blog I am going to share with you what exactly PLR is and how it can help you as a Christian blogger or online business owner.  As a Christian business owner using PLR can be a little tricky at times, in my opinion.  Because my faith takes front stage in everything in my life, including my online business, I don’t want to take a chance by doing anything that might tarnish my testimony or have others believe I am not who I say I am.

First we are going to cover the basics, specially what is PLR?  PLR stands for Private Label Rights. Private Label Rights (PLR) articles are privately branded articles that you can use on your website or blog without having to add an author credit bio box. PLR  Articles can be posted to your blog or website as if you had written the articles yourself.  PLR content is not just limited to written articles though.  If you do a search on Google, you can find PLR content on software, video, graphics, and even blog themes.

Nicole Dean from Easy PLR has created a great video that answers the question, “What is PLR”.  I would highly recommend that you take a few minutes and watch it. Nicole explains it a lot better than I ever can.

Incoporating Christian PLR

3 Sep

537046_39505011Over the last couple of years the popularity of blogs have exploded. It seems like everyone has a blog now and many have more than one.  Regardless if their blog is for a business or personal, people want to make their blog stand above the others.  Unfortunately there are many, many blogs to compete with out there in cyberspace. There are blogs on almost every topic imaginable.  But one way some bloggers are improving their blogs is by incorporating something known as PLR.

PLR is stands for Private Label Articles. These are articles that are sold over the Internet to one or more individuals that can then be used in almost anyway the buyer sees fit. Many times this PLR is used as a blog post or to enhance a blog post to draw readers in. There are even specialties in the world of PLR, one of them being Christian PLR or Christian Private Label Rights articles.

So, you may be thinking how can Christian PLR help improve my blog? Thankfully there are many ways you can incorporate Christian PLR into your blog to help improve it. Some are extremely eye opening ones like the one we are going to discuss here.

You may have a blog, not necessarily Christian based blog, but have made a decision to try and add more Christian based content to it. Christian PLR is PLR with a Christian theme or value. Some examples would be articles about family, marriage, the Lord, children etc. If you incorporate more of this type of content you are bound to attract more loyal readers. This is due to the fact that you have just added something of value to your blog.   Because of this you have also just added more credibility to your blog and now opened your spectrum of readers to include family, Christians, married couples, singles, children, almost every value based group you can think of.

Also thanks to the wondrous workings of the Lord you will also attract those who are seeking more in their life but have not yet found it. Your blog with the inclusion of the Christian PLR, may be all they need to open their heart to God. Maybe you as the individual blog owner are also seeking something that you have not yet found. Being exposed to more Christian based articles and Christian based postings can also turn your heart towards the Lord as well. Can you imagine? All this by adding some Christian based value to your blog, how wonderful!

The most important task that Christian PLR can accomplish for your blog is turning more hearts towards the Lord. By using Christian value themed articles on your blog, your Christian PLR will also provide credibility and expand your reader base. Christian PLR is just one way that can help you to be blogging the Bible. If you expand your reader base by incorporating Christian PLR on your blog you will have that many more hearts to turn towards the Lord. The Lord works through many different avenues, even through Private Label Rights articles on the Internet. So improve your blog right now and add some wonderful, spirit filled articles to it. You will never regret that decision after you witness what it can do for your life and the lives of your readers.

Christian Mom PLR

25 Jul

I want to let you all know about a new project of mine.   It’s not really new, but I haven’t been promoting it until now.  This site is Christian Mom PLR and as the title implies it is a place where you can purchase Christian based PLR articles and e-courses.

For those of you who do not know, PLR stands for Private Label Rights.  Private Label Rights (PLR) articles are privately branded articles that you can use on your website or blog without having to add an author credit bio box. PLR (Private Label Rights) Articles can be posted to your blog or website as if you had written the articles yourself.  It is content you can use for your blog, information products, article marketing, etc, as if they were your own.

I personally like using PLR.  I nomally modify the PLR article but it gives me a starting place.  I am horrible at trying to come up with content and PLR helps me with that.  Hopefully it can help you too.

I have also created an affiliate program for Christian Mom PLR.  I am paying 50% commission on every sale affiliates refer.  I would love to have you join as an affiliate!

Do you use PLR?  Do you like it?  What article topics would you like to see?
