With all this talk about goals and planning for 2010, what are you planning to do to stay accountable and to make sure you accomplish your goals.  Planning and goal setting are great to do but they don’t mean anything unless you follow through.

One way I plan to stay on top of my goals is through my accountability partner.  I prayed long and hard for a good accountability partner a couple months ago.  I then posted a forum thread over at Mom Masterminds to see if anyone else was looking for an accountability partner.  The Lord lead me to a great partner.  She is a fellow Christian and we share the same outlook on life and business.  She has been a great inspiration and is full of advice.

Another way to I plan to accomplish my goals is to stay accountable to my readers.  My plan is every Saturday to post about my goals for the week.  It not onlywill  keep me accountable to my readers but will also give you all a glimpse of things to come.  So my goals for this week:

1. Post on this blog everyday except for Sunday
2. Comment on other 5 Christian blogs daily
3. Complete a new article pack for Christian Mom PLR
4. Complete outstanding design jobs

So those are my goals for the week.   They should be doable, it is just a matter of actually doing it.

photo credit: ItzaFineDayAt the end of the day I feel like I left so many things undone.  This is true for my personal life and online life.  I tend to not focus on what I needs to get done and work on things that are not as important.  I put off the the things I don’t want to do but really need to do.  Does anyone else have this problem?

Last week I placed a post over at Mom Masterminds looking for an accountability partner.  Someone that would help keep me inline and I would do the same for them.  I think I have found the perfect match for me!  She is a fellow Christian and we seem to click pretty well together.

We are going to meet every morning at 7am on Skype and discuss the things we want to get done that day and what we are having problems with.  We will also meet once a week to brainstorms ideas and come up with solutions to problems together.

I am so excited to start this accountability partnership on Monday!  I can just feel good things coming! Do you have an accountability partner?  If so, how do you like it?  Does it help keep you focused and on track?
