Monday, August 9, 2010, I am hosting a free webinar to talk about some of my favorite blogging tools. These are tools you can use regardless of what blogging platform you use, WordPress, Blogger, TypePad, it doesn’t matter. The best part is that all of the tools, with the exception of two, are free!
During my free webinar, I will discuss these tools and tell you how I use them to help grow my blog, stay in touch with my readers, get more traffic, and keep track of what my friends [...]
As many of you know, I run the site Faithful Bloggers. Faithful Bloggers is a community for Christian women bloggers. Our purpose is to provide a common ground where we can encourage one another to use our blogs for the glory of God. While we want to mix and mingle and have fun, our purpose is to help you build a blog that will glorify the Lord while also strengthening your relationship with Him.
I’m excited to announce that Faithful Bloggers is growing! [...]
Today I have a guest post for you from author Cathy Bryant.
For those of us who blog and/or conduct business via the internet, online interaction is something we often do on autopilot. But as Christians, I think it’s wise to remember that what we do is for Someone greater than ourselves. Since our God is an awesome God, let’s remember to put the AWE in our online interaction.
A – Ambassadors
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: [...]
I’m hosting a Christian Group Writing Project over at Faithful Bloggers. The subject topic is about Psalms 23 and each blogger who signs up to participate will choose a verse and write a post about what that verse means to them. I will then publish a round up of all the posts at Faithful Bloggers and also compile a special report based on the posts to be given away for free.
Participating in a group writing project is a great way to meet bloggers, get involved in the Christian blogging community, [...]
I had a great response to my question about joining an online blogging/business prayer group. Between the comments left and the tweets I received, I decided to move forward with it.
The first online blogging/business prayer meeting will be Monday, July 28, 2010 at 9:00pm CST. If you would like to join us, just sign up below with your name and email address. This will put you on my prayer group mailing list so that I can email you reminders about the prayer meetings and the login link to my conference [...]
So I have this idea I have been praying about for the past week. It has to do with online business, blogging, and prayer. My three favorite topics! I wanted to run it by you, my readers, to hear thoughts on the matter and if it is something you would even be interested in.
Here it is, my big idea—
Online Business/Blog Prayer Group
It would work something like this – as I imagine it anyways. I would rent an online conference room (I already have one picked out ), and then Christian [...]
I have just completely updated my Christian PLR site, Christian Mom PLR. Not only does it now have a new look, but the PLR packs for more organized and I have created an affiliate center with training tools.
Why did I do all of this? Well I have this goal. I want to double my sales this month. The June challenge at the Elite forum is to make sales. So this is my challenge for the month. I know it can be done and this is just the first step.
My next [...]
Do you listen to podcasts? Do you record a regular podcast? Or do you record the occasional audio file? I love to listen to podcasts and I record the occasional audio file. I tried the regular podcast thing and it just wasn’t for me. But what I love about podcasts is that I can down them to my iphone and then listen whenever I have a chance. Mostly I listen while I’m running and while I’m making the long drive to go see my parents with the kids.
Of course I [...]
As we all know blogs have exploded in popularity in the last couple of years. Back in 2006 CNET reported that there were over 175,000 new blogs started every day. That was 4 years ago, the number has to be much larger now. Even a large number of churches are starting blogs to help with their visibility. But my question is this, Should Churches Blog?
In Matthew 28:19-20 we are giving the Great Commission, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and [...]

Everyone says you need a niche for your site to truly make money online. So what is a niche? A niche is a specific topic that you focus your site on. Since I am a Christian and try my best to put God first in everything, including my [...]
